The Veredus Olympus Vento Front Tendon Boots are a quality design equipped with innovative vents to keep your horse's legs cool and comfortable throughout wear. Heat released from the leg passes through the microperforated neoprene layer and is then distributed in the 3D mesh ducted fabric. During this process fresh air enters through the air inlet as a result for the hose's movement, and directs the heat accumulated in the ducted fabric upwards to the outlet grill.
Through extensive research the air ducts have been carefully placed for maxium effect*. Ventilation is therefore horizontal (from the inside outwards) and vertical (from the bottom upwards).
The shell of the Olympus Vento Boots consists of two distinct parts with different density and rigidity. The main shell is a flexible and extremely strong polyurethane mixture that provides excellent protection against abrasion, deterioration and the multiple stresses caused by the activities of a horse. The 54-Shore TPU maintains its elasto-mechanical properties from -15°C to +50°C without variations of rigidity and flexibility. In the back of the tendon boot, corresponding to the flexor tendon, extra protection is provided by an “X” shape made of 66-Shore TPU. This is a more rigid, protective polyurethane mixture containing the EVA Foam section. The two parts are combined during injection in in the mould.
Finished with elastic straps with quick release tips and smart Veredus branding, these boots are ideal for a range of disciplines.
