What inspired Crunchits Low Sugar Horse Treats?
Do you know of macaroons? Yes! Those nice little cookies we occasionally treat ourselves to? Well we wanted horses to be able to enjoy a similar looking version, but one that was suitable for all and healthy. As a result, Crunchits ‘popped’ into existence after sourcing low sugar, molasses free ingredients and trialling which flavours horses liked the most.
What are Crunchits Horse Treats made from?
These very simple, but much-loved treats are unique in their make up when it comes to horse treats. Extruded wholemeal flour, which is high in fibre, gives them their crunch, while natural beetroot, parsnip, carrot and banana gives them their tasty flavours. Like us, you may even find your horse has a favourite flavour! We also add highly palatable ground maize to entice even the fussiest of horses!

Feeding Guidelines
To be fed as a treat as required, dividing the daily amount into two or more servings. Suggested quantities: 250kg pony 20 Crunchits per day, 500kg horse 40 Crunchits per day. Always ensure plenty of clean fresh water is available. Store in a cool, dry place & reseal the bag when not in use.

Crunchits are a complementary feed for horses and ponies.
Analytical Constituents:
- Crude Protein 11%;
- Crude Fibre 2%;
- Crude Fat 2.5%;
- Crude Ash 1.3%;
- Sodium >0.1%;
- Sugar 4.0%.
Composition: Wheat, Maize, Dried Beetroot powder (2.6%), Chickpea Flour, Dried Turmeric powder (1%), Dried Carrot powder (0.5%), Dried Banana powder (0.3%), Dried Parsnip powder (0.3%) Calcium carbonate, Blackcurrants, Rosemary, Pomegranate, Vegetable powder, Soya Oil.
Always ensure plenty of clean fresh water is available. Store in a cool, dry place & reseal the bag when not in use. Once opened, it is recommended the contents are used within four weeks. For batch number & best before date, see base of pack.
